Removed maestro and added tune-O-matic...mmm, actually a good idea. |
No neck breaks or major damage. Alas, this one was white in the beginning. |

|
A wasted 65 Jr with a swimming pool big enough for 3 pups. |

|
I convinced Tom, the owner, to let me "HAVE AT IT!" We'll go for an SG Special! Notice the make-do pickguard...it was 1/8-inch thick plastic! |
A mohagany block fills the pool and is now under the clamps. |
After block snading the body flat, the screw holes need to be filled...ALL 48 OF THEM! |

This is another good shot. Gibson boys would drill the wiring hole before the neck went in, thru the neck joint cavity. I had to go the opposite route! |

I love this shot...reminds me of that "Hellraiser" dude...Pinhead? I usually use matching wood dowels, but this was too much. |

|
P90 cavities routed and the body is now sealed. Note the original control holes had to be filled and redrilled...they had been "wallered" out. |

|
After much deliberation, Tom has decided to go with BLACK! That'll be cool. |

Looks pretty close. |
